As an educator, you inspire and lead a new generation to be good and productive citizens. Each class has a different collection of personalities and aptitudes, each of which you engage and academically challenge accordingly. As you complete this graduate certificate, you will explore the needs and instruction of gifted students. We help you identify new approaches to your curriculum that will challenge academically gifted and talented students at the elementary, middle or secondary levels. You will gain an understanding of why these students may be unmotivated and may be low achievers. You will also gain insight into gifted and talented students from low-income and minority backgrounds.
