Master of Science
The Citadel Graduate College and The Graduate School of the College of Charleston offer a unique approach to an ever-changing profession with the master of science degree in computer and information sciences. This program explores the theory and application of computer science, the analysis and management of information systems, and all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Students in this program are often working professionals. This contributes to a rich academic environment, with classroom discussions balancing trends, theories and the future of computer and information sciences. Furthermore, the average class size is 12. Admissions Criteria

- Coursework or acceptable work experience in computer science and mathematics. Must have an understanding of the following four core competencies:
- basic computer architecture
- object-oriented programming
- discrete mathematics
- data structures
