The Master of Arts in English Program provides advanced course work in British literature, American literature, English language and composition, and rhetoric. The program is designed to attract recent college graduates, as well as English teachers or others interested in pursuing graduate studies in English. You will learn to apply critical thinking skills, problem-solving strategies and enhanced writing skills to existing workplace assignments or to a career in education.
The Citadel and the College of Charleston offer the bonus of being located in Charleston, S.C., a living museum of history and the arts with an ongoing literary culture that is both historically significant and currently blossoming with diversity and growth.
